Emotional

A wise person once told me that unless you are happy with yourself as you are, you will never be happy thin. I just get disgusted with myself sometimes when I go shopping and there are all these cute little clothes that I cannot fit into because I won't get off my butt and do something to try to. Everytime I see my belly and it jiggles it makes me sick. My husband says he loves me the way that I am and I appreciate that, but after I had my daughter it had been 6 months and I said I feel so fat. He told me oh honey you are not fat until it has been a year and you still haven't lost the weight. Well here we are almost 4 years later. I am just ready to be healthy again. Sometimes I feel as if I have an eating disorder. It's like I can eat and eat and not feel full. So just because I do not feel full I feel I should eat more. I am really trying to work on that.

Just the begining

My goal for tomorrow is walk the stairs at work 3 times, Drink a minimum of 5 12 ounce glasses of water. My goal for this week is do at least 3 hard days of working out.My goal for this month is to be 10 pounds lighter by the end of February. What motivates me is the desire to be thin while I am still young, the cruise we want to take for vacation, I want to be healthy for my kids. What changes I am making, At my job I can have all the free sodas and coffee that I want. In the last two weeks I have stopped drinking all sodas and all coffee and have done very well I started at 240 and now I am down to 232.4. The other change that I am making is during my 15 minute break instead of just sitting in the breakroom I started as of today walking down to the first floor and then back up to the 5th floor and back down to my floor. I have started being for careful with what I eat. I have weight control oatmeal and 100 calorie yogurt for breakfast a turkey sandwhich for lunch and string cheese for snack. I will soon be incorporating fruit and veggies as snack during the day.Ultimate goal be down to 160 by fall.

Homework and Goals - Week 1

Goals - Week 1
1. Emotional Goal - Write in your blog, why you want to do this contest. Be as specific as possible. Also print a copy to post on your refrigerator and wherever you tend to make bad food choices.

2. Food Goal - Decide what kind of diet is best for you and commit to it by writing it down in your blog. I've included some links to my favorite online diets, or you can use your blog as a food and exercise journal also.

3. Exercise Goal - Do at least 60 minutes of any exercise of your choice over the course of the week. (10 minutes a day for 6 days, 15 minutes a day for 4 days, 30 minutes a day for 2 days...well you get the idea)
